After a Muslim group of students in Shehu Shagari college of education in Sokoto, killed a Christian girl who made a remark about their religious posts in a class WhatsApp group.
The young girl reportedly got stoned and burnt to death by her fellow students, and a sickening silence followed suit from the Northern leaders who were turn between the disturbing killing and their religious ethics.
Former Vice President and the 2023 Presidential Aspirant of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, however condemned the killing, but ended up deleting the tweet and that was that about that.

The politician who shared the posts around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday May 12, deleted them less than an hour later after some Northerners threatened not to vote for him in the 2023 presidential election.
The post shared on Facebook and Twitter read;
“There can not be a justification for such gruesome murder. Deborah Yakubu was murdered, and all those behind her d*ath must be brought to justice. My condolences to her family and friends.”
