Iranian Man shot to death after celebrating US Victory in the match against Iran
A total lack of spirit of sportsmanship is at play here, after a man was fatally shot dead by the Islamic regime security forces after he openly celebrated Iran’s lose in a world cup soccer match against the United States on Tuesday.
According to reports, 27-year-old Mehran Samak was driving in the city of Anzali when he began to honk his car repeatedly to commemorate Iran’s loss after the game. He was in the vehicle with his fiancee when a security force official approached him and suddenly shot him in the head.
Despite desperate attempts to treat Mehran for his injury at a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead an hour later. Mehran wasn’t the only one who was praising his country’s loss in the World Cup, after being joined by fellow Iranians who chanted in satisfaction with the game’s end result. Countless videos of people celebrating in different parts of Iran have widely circulated on Twitter.
Many people were in favor of Iran losing the World Cup match over the ongoing nationwide protests that have erupted since September following the death of Mahsa Amini. The 22-year-old suddenly died shortly after her arrest in Tehran for not wearing her hijab accordingly. Law enforcement officials told her family she suffered from a heart attack, which they refuse to believe.
